• Report inputs: the business name and location you enter to run a scan. This is public business information, not personal data about you.
• Account info: the email address you sign up with, plus basic account details needed to log you in.
• Purchase info: a record of the reports you buy. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
• Usage data: basic technical and activity data (such as pages viewed and reports run) that helps us keep the app working and improve it.

How we use it

• To build and deliver the report you asked for.
• To create and secure your account, and to process your purchases.
• To provide support and answer your questions.
• To understand how the app is used so we can fix problems and make it better.
• To send you essential messages about your account or a purchase.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties we share with or rely on

To run the service, some data flows through trusted providers:

• Google Places: we query it for public data about the business you enter, so we can build the Xcavate report.
• AI model providers: we send the business name and location to third-party AI models to measure how they describe and recommend the business for the X-Ray report.
• Payment processor: the platform checkout provider handles your payment securely and processes your card details on our behalf.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles data. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your session, and understand basic usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though turning some off may stop parts of the app from working properly.

Data retention

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as needed to run the service and meet legal or accounting requirements. When we no longer need data, we remove it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To make any of these requests, just email us and we will help. You can also close your account at any time.
